Black palm kale is an Italian native variety of the plant kale. The same family with cabbage and broccoli, yet looks like a big palm tree. It has a combination of sweet and bitter taste that is perfect for stews and soups. You can also harvest the young leaves for salad. Everyone likes a little palm in their veggie garden. They can reach up to more than a 150cm in height.
